ساتان الحافة المنسوجة is a type of knitted strip is manufactured by knitting loom.It is formed by the cyclic insertion and movement of pins between the yarns of its two edges.During this process,the two edges of the strip are firmly locked,thus it is also called selvage satin.
Knitting is just the second stage in the production process,the product output is known as greige strip,after that process by the production procedures of washing,dyeing and calendering,then finished products put out.
Similar to cut polyester satin tape,woven edge satin is a type of polyester yarn made selvage satin strip,has a series of common characteristics of satin fabric,such as high degree of surface glossiness,smooth hand feel,excellent printability,etc.It is not only a ideal printing material for care label but also a favorite material for gift packaging.
