Label flexo printing machine uses fluid flexographic ink with strong fluidity. The ink is transferred to the flexible printing plate cylinder through a high-precision anilox roller, which is then directly pressed onto the surface of the care label tape. Finally, the printing process is completed through drying.

The reason why flexo label printing machines have developed at a constant speed is not only due to technological breakthroughs in board and ink, but also due to its inherent characteristics, which are important reasons for attracting users.
1. The label flexo printing machine has a simple structure, making it easy to operate and maintain. The price of a flexo label printing machine with the same function is about 30-50% of that of an offset or gravure label printing machine.
2. The material has strong adaptability, and satisfactory printing results can be achieved from 0.22mm plastic film to 10mm corrugated cardboard.
3. The imprinting force is small, about 19.6-39.2N/m2, especially for printing on substrates such as corrugated paper that cannot withstand excessive pressure.
4. The main reason for the low printing cost is that the machine is cheap, the plate making cost is low, the paper loss rate during the printing process is low, and the production cost is 30-50% cheaper than gravure printing.
5. The printing quality is good. The use of a short ink path ink conveying system with a mesh ink roller not only simplifies the structure of the ink conveying system, but also enables quantitative control of film thickness. The breakthrough in high-performance photosensitive resin plate technology has greatly improved the resolution of the printing plate and the reproducibility of dots (up to 1-95%). Flexo printing can achieve color layered printing with 300 lines/in, and the printing effect can be compared to offset and gravure printing.

1-) Unwinding Feeding ComponentStructure

The label graphic printing machine mainly consists of four components, namely the unwinding and feeding component, the printing component, the drying component, and the rewinding and receiving component.

The printing speed of flexographic printing machines generally reaches 150m/min (or even higher). In normal operation, in order to reduce the number of shutdowns and waste of roll material, it is necessary to install a unwinding feeding device. The function of unwinding and feeding is to unfold the printed material in rolls, continuously and stably feed the printed material into the printing component, and control its speed, tension, and lateral position before reaching the first printing component. The unwinding feeding component consists of a coil holder and a set of guide rollers, which are arranged in a straight line with the printing component. The material roll rack is controlled by electric or hydraulic components for lifting and lowering, and is generally locked by pneumatic components on the roll paper axis. The end of the roll paper is equipped with a detector.
2-) Printing Components
The printing components are the core of flexographic printing machines, using a short ink path ink conveying system. There are two ink rollers, or even one ink roller paired with an ink scraper, which can achieve uniform and quantitative transfer of ink from all ink to the surface of the printing plate.

In this system, the mesh ink transfer roller is supplied with ink by the ink bucket rubber roller, which is used to transfer sufficient ink to the mesh ink transfer roller (referred to as the mesh roller). The combination of ink scraper, fish, and mesh roller allows the flexographic printing machine to adapt to various viscosity inks, achieving better printing quality under higher factors. When the printing speed increases, although the dynamic pressure on the surface of the anilox roller increases, the ink scraper presses on the surface of the anilox roller. त्यामुळे, the ink output of the ink conveying system is independent of the dynamic pressure of the ink and is almost unaffected by viscosity. This short ink path ink conveying system can maintain a constant ink output at various speeds, so flexographic printing machines are capable of high-speed printing and high-precision color dot printing.
3-) Drying section
The belt length between two printing components (units) on a flexographic printing machine is 250-400mm, and the flexographic printing speed generally reaches 150m/min. This means that the time for a certain point on the material roll to pass through the drying device is only a few minutes to tens of a second. त्यामुळे, it is required that the drying device of the flexographic printing machine has good drying efficiency.
The drying device of a flexographic printing machine is divided into two stages: one stage is intermediate color drying, which means that the front color ink layer is completely dried as much as possible before entering the next printing unit, and the other stage is final drying, which means that after all colors of ink are printed, the solvent in the ink layer needs to be thoroughly removed to avoid scratching and dirt during rewinding or stacking.
4-) Rewinding and receiving components
The printed and dried roll material needs to be rewound for storage or subsequent processing. In order to ensure the accuracy of printing registration and obtain printing rolls with uniform elasticity, neat end faces, and regular external contour, the rewinding components are equipped with tension adjustment and control devices. In order to shorten downtime, some flexographic printing machines have multiple rewinding components for changing rolls without stopping the machine.
