Thermisch transferlint (afgekort als TTR-lint) is eigenlijk een soort polyesterfilm bedekt met verschillende lagen. Vanwege de warmte die wordt overgedragen door de thermische kop van de thermische printer, de inktlaag wordt overgebracht op de printmaterialen.
